Fireplace Sweeps
The purpose of a fireplace, wood stove, or wood stove insert sweep is to remove soot and creosote from the inside of your chimney. These extremely corrosive byproducts cause rapid deterioration of the flue and, eventually, a chimney fire. Keeping your fireplace, wood stove, and/or wood stove insert clean will prevent deterioration of the flue and ultimately, a chimney fire.
Let one of Allen Chimneys' experienced technicians sweep your fireplace today! First, we will run a stainless-steel brush through the flue multiple times. Second, we will clean out the base of your chimney and, in some cases, damper removal will be necessary. Next, we will perform a complete clean out of the smoke shelf and smoke chamber, which are the “smoking guns” of the fireplace. Finally, a level II internal camera inspection of the interior flue will be performed, in order to ensure peace of mind for the safety of you home.
Heating Flue Sweeps
